Following the latest announcement from the Scottish Parliament the rules for playing golf have now changed.

The St Andrews Links and Scottish Golf are now allowing ticketholders who permanently reside in Fife to play in three or four-balls with no restrictions on the number of households

Please note, the Scottish Golf guidance that allows golfers to travel up to 5 miles across a local authority boundary does not apply to St Andrews Links as we are situated more than this maximum distance from the boundary.

The Thistle Golf Club of St Andrews, for your own safety and that of others, urge you to stick strictly to these rules and reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

The quicker we observe these rules hopefully the quicker we will be back to some form of normality.

Stay Healthy and Play Golf if you can and always within the rules.
